The first ten times that happens you're confused.  The next ten times you try telling people, "I don't know what you're talking about.  My dad is not like that." Uncomfortable conversations ensue.  Few friends are made. By the time you're 30 you have bigger problems and you're done fighting about it. "Yeah! Jamaica Mon!" You're American anyhow, what does it matter?
