I am asking you to imagine growing up as Kamala Harris.  It's a basic thing you can do to build empathy. There are a lot of ways that it may become difficult to imagine yourself as someone else.  Race and national origin are probably the two hardest besides gender.  But everyone should try.  


Why do you throw out one of the two L-words as soon as someone says something you find unpleasant?

He’s grasping at an opportunity to throw the race card.

You're grasping at a chance to disregard my argument.  Unless you deny race exists, you have to accept that it will come up in conversations and not get offended when it does.  Part of being an adult.
