Also the Jaguars defense was very good at the start of the year. Not sure where you got the impression that it wasn't?

We'd have been 8-8 this year with slightly below average QB despite all the injuries we had

You must of forgotten how the defense had deep open holes in the secondary early in the season.  In fact we should of lost the opener against the giants because there were receivers open deep its just that Eli couldn't get the ball to them.
