That's about what he does. When the pressure is on, he sucks.

Because he is way more than just a good arm. He has a great arm, is very cerebral, has an unparalleled work ethic, and his leadership is off the charts. You read the Senior Bowl reports, Carr was the only player who sat in on the other position group meetings, made a concerted effort to get to know every teammate, stayed after every practice to work extra with Jordan Matthews (and rubbed off on some other WR who wound up staying later in the week).

Literally the only knock on him is dealing with pressure, and it has been way overblown. He isn't scared of it and he doesn't sense phantom pressure...this isn't a Gabbert situation. If he fixes that he is an elite QB, and his great work ethic suggests that he has a pretty good chance of that.

I would easily gamble on him fixing one flaw than Manziel, Garoppolo, Fales, etc. fixing multiple shortcomings without having that upside.
