3 GM's compare this QB class to the 2011 class

Quote:Because he is way more than just a good arm. He has a great arm, is very cerebral, has an unparalleled work ethic, and his leadership is off the charts. You read the Senior Bowl reports, Carr was the only player who sat in on the other position group meetings, made a concerted effort to get to know every teammate, stayed after every practice to work extra with Jordan Matthews (and rubbed off on some other WR who wound up staying later in the week). All those are fine and dandy, but you expect that attitude from a potential franchise QB. The pressure thing scares me, I admit. His footwork isn't the best either. If he had Garrapollos footwork and comfort level under center, he would be a better prospect. I have no problem taking him as a potential guy - but I wouldn't touch Carr in the top 20. I don't think you can really "fix" how you handle pressure. To me, how you behave under pressure is by far the most important attribute when "evaluating" a QB. The great arm doesn't matter at all when you sht the bed like he did against USC.
