Point being, yes, you can find tight ends in the first round, but you've also got a really good shot at finding them later. Would I draft a tight end in the top ten? Sure, if I have a time machine that can take me back in time to 2010 so I can bring Gronk to Jacksonville.

Fun fact of the day: we drafted Tyson Alualu in the first round in 2010.


Alualu is a classic example of why you don't want to reach in round one. Hockenson would not be a reach as he's a top 10 guy. Jackson? He might be the best RT at a position of dire need, but he's at least a slight reach. Dude should go like #15 to #20.
