It's quite remarkable, his cult-like behavior.

It's not unlike being absorbed by a cult at all.

(modified to remove religious references)

do they claim to have a special corner on the truth, something no other groups has?

CHECK

are you told to not question what is being taught, as the leadership is honest, and you must trust them?

CHECK

are you discouraged from asking questions as to why members have left, and expected to accept the reasons the group leadership gives you?

CHECK - they have cute nicknames for these folks as well, particularly African Americans who are not dedicated to the liberal cause

do they put down opposition, while pointing out their faults and errors to build themselves up? do they use peoples faults and mistakes as examples of what to do and what not to do?

CHECK

do they stop you from reading anything negative about themselves?

CHECK - queue "fake news"

do they defend themselves in every area?

CHECK

do they give importance to a political goal or generalization, that has no real tangible way of being measured?

CHECK

do they operate in humility, or seem arrogant, and make demands on you to obey?

CHECK - as in "will you accept the results of the election?" etc.

Posted two years ago.

And every day since, proven to be a spot on assessment of those who continue to religiously dedicate themselves to everything anti-Trump.

People can develop a cult-like mentality towards politicians and media figures, even if those figures don't see themselves as cult leaders.
some people really just want to be in a cult where somebody tells them what to do and what to think.
This is certainly true of some of the folks wearing red hats at Trump rallies, too.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.
