I sure hope like hell you are right.  I'm tired of the defense surrendering so much yardage on the ground.

I just didn't see the explosive burst off the ball transition from college to the NFL last season. That was the only element to his game that was above average. He got lost in the crowd and on a few occasions he was in position to make a play he lost sight of the ball/ball carrier. I hope he develops into at least a strong run defender maybe on the inside but I don't see it. But yes time will tell that's the intriguing part.
