Oliver fits a need that we lack. Foles and Flip will be using the TE position damn near religiously in this system.

Oliver has that pass catching ability and wiggle you want out of a player at his size. Koyack and O'Shaugnessy are also still on the roster and they picked up Swain from Dallas.

This is a good mix of guys that will get some work. We wanted Hockenson, some of us did, but taking Allen was a must. The fact that they still landed Taylor at RT along with Oliver at TE pretty much fills that need we missed by passing on Hockenson.

NFL.com had him as a 5th RD pick. But we all saw the run at the position. And teams take guys they love when they want to. I can live with it.
