You're probably right.  I just don't like Wash's philosophy on LBs.  I would have loved seeing us take one of the faster ILB prospects from the draft and putting him in the middle, moving Jack outside.  Smith just underwhelms me at LB and he doesn't cover well enough to play safety.  He's too light in the butt for LB.  Takes bad angles on tackles, etc.
