Wow, that's absolutely amazing that you would draw any correlation to Gene Smith.  Kinda [BLEEP] up, but nonetheless amazing.  Almost as amazing that you think he has to play like first rounder to be considered a steal.

Just some amazing and weird observations Dr. Einstein.

He had an undrafted grade. A steal is getting a highly valued player for less than market value. Taylor was a steal, Williams won't be unless he plays better than a 3rd round grade.

His performance will help, but given the grades and other options available, it was a bad pick for the 3rd round. If other teams were truly interested, then maybe he goes round 5 or later.

Less risk in round 5 or later and you get a better player in round 3 also.
