NCAA players looking to unionize and become recognized as paid athletes?

They should get paid by performance. Sign up PFF to do the evaluations and pay them by the score and fantasy football statistics. Then remove all bans and limitations on touchdown celebrations and taunting, and pay them based on how epic it was. For instance, could you imagine a player scoring a touchdown and then all of a sudden there is a grill in the endzone and he bar-b-ques a full bratwurst and blurts out a random one liner, right there in the endzone! Then there could be a guy in a tuxedo and bow tie right there to hand him his check. Then after getting his check, he runs to the crowd and does a lambaugh leap and everyone stuffs dollar bills in his tights and pads.
