Jaguar's Forum Annual Participatory Mock Draft Lounge!

I have news for some folks... hold on tight to your teddy bears...
The real Jaguars MIGHT trade pick three...in real life just like old Jungle Cat did in the make-believe draft. http://fansided.com/2014/01/25/nfl-draft...rade-pick/ NFL Draft 2014: Jacksonville Jaguars open to trading No. 3 pick The Super Bowl is in a week, but for the 30 other teams not playing in the game, their focus has now shifted from trying to do god in 2013 to trying to get better for 2014. The primary ways to build for the future is to draft well in April and part of drafting well sometimes means moving the current pick you have. Jacksonville had a rough season this year, despite turning things around late in the year. They’re sitting with the No. 3 overall pick but general manager David Caldwell is saying the team may not stay in the that draft slot for long as they’re open to trading it away. Per Michael DiRocco from ESPN: “I don’t think where we’re standing right now that we’re dead set on going in any one direction, whether it’s trading up, trading back, staying where we are and picking,” Caldwell said while attending Senior Bowl practices. “There’s going to be a lot of options there with the third pick. It’s still way too early to tell if teams will be moving around, but the Jaguars are a team to keep an eye on. With Johnny Manziel likely to be on the board as well as prospects like Jadeveon Clowney and Teddy Bridgewater, the Jaguars could hold the pick for ransom and make out nicely like the St. Louis Rams did when they traded the RGIII pick away in a deal that now has them picking twice in the first round this year. http://blackandteal.com/2014/01/28/jacks...t-trading/ Draft speculation is starting to build as the season comes to a close, and that includes speculation of who may trade up or down. Erik Lambert recently put out a mock draft with some possible trades over at NFL Mocks and it made me think about some of the people who suggest the Jacksonville Jaguars need to trade down to accumulate more picks. http://www.bigcatcountry.com/2014/1/24/5...14-jaguars 2014 NFL Draft: Jaguars open to trading No. 3 pick The Jacksonville Jaguars currently hold the No. 3 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, but according to general manager Dave Caldwell they're willing to deal that pick if something comes along. "I don't think where we're standing right now that we're dead set on going in any one direction, whether it's trading up, trading back, staying where we are and picking," Caldwell told ESPN's Mike DiRocco. "There's going to be a lot of options there with the third pick." ------- So while some so called Jaguars fans are crying boo-hoo and making me out to be a horrible person, throwing racially motivated hate-speech (in real life), draft charts, and wooden shoes (even) into the mock draft process, I rest my case.
