He saved Jeep, also. When they acquired AMC in 1987, they did so to grab the Jeep brand, and that proved to be a wise decision. He was a visionary. It was a shame to hear that he had passed, but he definitely left his mark on the auto industry with some iconic designs that changed it forever.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
