How are these trades fair? Maybe b/c there isn't enough trade bait... but you think if the Browns who really wanted to get Manziel at pick 2, would only to swap 2nd and 3rd round picks... wouldn't do it in a heart beat?
or Det or any team outside the top 6... is guaranteed Barr, Mack, Clowney, Bridgewater, Matthews, or Watkins wouldn't give up JUST their 2nd round pick to get one of them? This reminds me of the Browns a few years ago who really wanted Alex Mack and traded down twice to get him. They passed up a bunch of great talent to pick him and all those trade downs netted them Mohammed Massaquoi and David Veikune. |
