The gain just isn't worth it imo.  I'd certainly want more out of Oakland than a simple swap.  I'd want an extra pick somewhere.  I'd be very disappointed if Dave did that trade.  He can still get a good player, but at the same time the value he got for the trade wasn't very good.  I don't think GM's will trade in the 1st round just because they can (in later rounds, maybe.  I've seen it happen).  I'd expect Dave to get more out of it.
