The main cause of that 5-11 season was injuries to our starters.  I don't know if you remember but we lost 4 starting offensive linemen and most of their backups last year.  This year, they are going overboard to avoid injuries.  They felt like they got the competition they needed in the practices the week before the game. 

That said, it was a really bad game and I don't see how they can sell tickets to something like that.
