He saw what A.B. did and he thinks he will get the same outcome. We're between a rock and a hard place, because the front office failed to see the immense shortcomings of this coaching staff and now the relationship between our star player and our team could be irreparably damaged. Whatever the case, we cannot get so frustrated that we take a low ball offer just to make the problem go away. Jalen Ramsey is not Minkah Fitzpatrick. He is infinitely better and would command much more than a single first round pick. I'm scared to death, this front office is going to take a low ball offer just to make this issue go away. If they do, we need to show them our displeasure by not going to games and not even watching on TV. Hopefully, this problem gets worked out and Ramsey and the Jags can stay together, but something tells me that's not gonna happen. The reason Tunsil netted so much is because he is a young, promising LT. Left Tackles are a premium position in the NFL and next to QB, have the highest value to teams. They saw Tunsil as having the possibility of being an elite LT in the next 3 years. If he turns into that, well they made a good deal. If he is anything other than elite by that time, then they got hosed. I don't expect Ramsey to get that much in return, because CB's don't have the value of a LT. That's just the way the NFL is. I do expect us to get back at least two first round picks or a first, a third and a good, established player at a position of need or else there is no sense in trading him. |
