I agree regarding Marrone being on borrowed time here. I just hope we don't continue to see excuses being made for him by his superiors.

Foles being out for 12 games is an excuse. The injuries last year were an excuse. But 2017 seems far away and even that year seems too good to be true when you consider the weak schedule they had.

I just don't like his approach to the game. The offensive line play shouldn't be this terrible in spite of injuries. That's his background. That's what he cut his teeth on earlier on in his career.

They allowed Foles to get hammered in the opener. I am seeing virtually zero push or efforts being made in the running game as well. They can't seem to do anything particular at an above average level.

That's not good when you've made Linder and Norwell filthy rich for their respective positions and you've invested a pair of 2nd RD picks recently at the OT positions.

They should just be better in general by now. I didn't like the lack of starters playing as a unit during the preseason as well. Seems like they're still shaking the rust off.

Whether or not Ramsey remains here remains to be seen. But I believe moving forward it'll be a hard selling point for Khan's next hire for the general manager and/or head coaching gig.

Too much ego in that lockeroom with little to no accomplishments to show for it or justify it. This isn't the legion of boom, steel curtain, monsters of the midway or doomsday defense we're talking about here.

It was one good year from a squad playing with four new faces on it against a schedule of teams that were decimated at the QB position.

And all it took was a week four collapse on offense a year later to tailspin them into a squad of mental midgets with blown coverages and missed tackles with no turnovers to compensate.

At some point. Players also need to hold eachother accountable for the piss poor perfomances on the field as well. It's a two way street.

Ramsey isn't the answer though. Nor is Marrone.

I agree 100%.. I just feel like if they really wanted to move Ramsey, they wouldn't be asking so much for him right now.. If they really wanted to part with him, that 1st and 5th probably would have done it.. I think they're looking for that win-win scenario. Either they get that King's Randsom or they retain arguably the best CB in the league.. But if they are favoring one particular outcome, they're pretty brilliant perfecting their pokerface.
