Think Fournette reads the forum. Didn’t like being regarded as someone who closes his eyes after handed the ball for the play at the line. It’s as if he opened the tunnel vision minds eye behind oline that blew everyone’s mind,, that true grit, that faith, that infectious sense of faith that Minshew brought to the table with the deep passing game, which exceeded to 2/3rds from his previous starts on first and second downs; opening up the running game! That number needs to double so we won’t be sweating an 0-4 team winning with four seconds left on the clock!

Defense is believing too, we need to get our passing offense into the top ten rather than 22nd with a QB who has the best passer debut rating ever!

Fournette Praises the Oline

"The O-linemen had a dinner Thursday and [center Brandon Linder] and everybody else was like 'We're going to get you there this week' and I believed in them," Fournette said. "I think little things like that, just bonding outside of football, going to lunches with each other. That's part of timing, too. We're getting the trust back."

Minshew is in top ten in the category of time to throw, yet he is only averaging 7.7 yards per completion. We need more deep passing with all the time he has to throw to get the box from being stacked to the point Fournette is in the top ten for the average of plays with 8 defenders in the box.
