I think the excitement is that Minshew’s floor is very high. The general rule of thumb is that a team drafts a rookie QB high, starts them at some point first or second year and watch them suck for half the season. Minshew hasn’t sucked. We are supposed to be seeing a QB making lots of rookie mistakes and they are just not there. 

The ceiling is high. I think most of the issues we see with QB’s are mental. Bortles for example had a horrible wind up yes, but he actually got better.. then he lost confidence and totally regressed. This kid has ZERO confidence issues.
