Interesting choice of words not committed to Minshew. A bit of self reflection in that statement. As in, he believes the success is due to his scheme and it will continue regardless of who is qb.

I think you are reading in to it too much. Flip has had buckets of praise for Minshew over the past few weeks. He may just be dialing that down a bit since the hype has likely grown beyond the actual production. These coaches have to manage some player egos as part of their job. Probably wise to temper the praise as well as any criticism.
