I agree wholeheartedly with the very last statement. Hindsight is 20/20 but the FO might have dropped the ball with how they handled the contract situations between Yan, Jack, and Ramsey.

Honestly though, Yan doesn't look like a $19 million dollar/yr player right now and Jack certainly hasn't played up to his contract.

The one that kills me is Ramsey. He CLEARLY outplayed his contract and is an UNDENIABLE all-pro cornerback. Sucks how it has turned out with Ramsey and I think both sides are to be blamed with how they have handled the situation thus far.

I agree.  Though Yannick played pretty well today for a guy reportedly playing through a bad hammy strain.  If he gets healthy there's time for him to turn his season around.   I don't have the same confidence in Jack fixing his issues. 

Ramsey I was certain they'd pay prior to 2020, but now he's got one foot out the door.  Not sure I blame the Jags for that one. 

Choosing to pay Jack before either of those guys was a mistake. I was just hoping they were justified in their confidence in Jack when they did that. Like maybe they saw something I didn't. Now I feel they were overly confident in him taking the next step.
