Personally, I don't care. The video is out there because he won't play Dwayne Haskins and didn't want him in the first place, so the Redskins are looking for a reason to fire him. But for that circumstance, this video of Gruden smoking something implied (but never confirmed) to be marijuana and necking up to a pretty young thing would never see the light of day.

I could draw some parallels here between Jay Gruden, who you're piling on, and someone else out there who's being defended despite piles of similarly sketchy evidence and a history of doing the things you're all over Jay Gruden for. But [BLEEP] the political forum, I just thought I'd point out how comically hypocritical you're being here. You're getting your panties in a twist about a coach who has approximately 12 hours left as a head coach in the NFL, and completely eschewing your usual response about how it's not the government's business if you, I or Jay Gruden want to ruin our lives with drugs. The only difference is that there's video of Jay Gruden sitting on a sidewalk getting a know a much younger woman that is definitely not his wife. I don't care, and I don't get why you care so much. If he wants to ruin his life and end up working at Division III Bumfart Technical Community College of Kansas as the assistant WR coach to pay for the divorce settlement, that's his problem.

It's perfectly consistent to say "I don't care if you smoke, in fact I think the law should be changed so that you can if you want to as it should be none of the government's business" and "You should not smoke because it's illegal." So long as it's the law then it's the law. It's none of my business if he wants to do it, but speaking as though it is my business, as in this thread, my position is that he's a high profile person engaging in poor behavior and I would not blame the Redskins for firing him over it. This isn't the political forum, it's a football one, and the law and the NFL are both firmly clear about drug use. I find it interesting that you're taking so much effort to white knight a sleazeball that neither of us really give a rip about, just because I said that he's a sleazeball.
