It seems like we have reached the point where the only solution that respects the team and maintains a sense of discipline is to keep Ramsey the rest of the year and then trade him during the off-season.

Hiring Nick Foles was an effort to win with this current team.  Gardner Minshew gives us a chance to build the next team.  Minshew's rookie deal has to go for at least 3 years before we can give him any kind of big contract.  

So it's tempting to say, let's trade Ramsey for some good draft picks, trade Foles for whatever we can get, and use all those draft picks and cap space to build the next team.  

I wouldn't be surprised if the emergence of Minshew has got the front office thinking, here's an opportunity to build this team in a different way from what we were planning.  They might be thinking, do we want to tie up a lot of resources in a CB when we have a chance to build for the long term around a QB?
