And why would I be mad? We lost to the McCaffrey Panthers, Breesless Saints, the Texans and KC. We squeaked by the Broncos with Flacco (!!!) at QB and beat the terrible looking Tacks. On what basis do people think we will win at least 6-9 more games? If things go really well, maybe we win 6 (big if), if they dont, we wont even make it to .500. Impossible to predict how this will go, and the only game where we are the all-around better team is against the Bengals. There is no basis to predict us to be clear winners in any other games. In other words: its a toss up, which is exactly what I said. I even blamed it on the coaching, but I guess you were waiting to post your little "rap nation" video somewhere, huh?

Who is this "they" that you speak of?  Also, I think that you probably meant the Saints without Brees.

The Jaguars lost by 1 score to a 5-1 team and a 4-2 team that are legitimate playoff teams in their conference.  This was also done with a backup QB playing for the Jaguars.  I think that the chances are rather good for a turnaround and a winning record at the end of the season with a real possibility of a shot at the playoffs.  The key is going to be winning divisional games which is very feasible (remember, the team lost to the Texans by 1).

I won't predict a final record, but I do think that the team will end up above .500 barring injuries.  The next game on paper looks like a "should win", but this is the NFL.  Anything can happen... you know "any given Sunday".

After the Titans game people on this board were talking about how we have a good chance to win out before facing the Texans again. Same thing after the Denver game. Only a few voiced their concern about the Panthers, and around that time people also assumed we would be favorites against the Saints without Brees.

We also only won by 2 points to a then win and sack-less Denver team (with Flacco, who burned Herndon btw), and the one score loss to the Saints looks a lot better on paper than it was on the field, we were never even close to being in control of that game and the saints clearly were. So excuse me if I think that just assuming that we will go on to win 6-8 more games is a bit silly and nothing but fans looking through the rose colored glasses. Bottom line is aside from the Bengals game, there are no clear cut Ws we can expect, therefore I stand by what I said before.
