Tony Boselli was the best LT of all time IMO. In 7 seasons as a Jaguar, he gave up only 15.5 sacks, but I remember when he lost some match ups with Bruce Smith. That doesn't make him any any less of a phenom. Sometimes you go up against really good opponents and they get the better of you. As long as you are consistently good, that's all that matters and Stanley is consistently good. Whoa, whoa, whoa, I never said Ronnie Stanley was Tony Boselli or anything close to him. Stanley is merely one of the better LT's in the NFL today. Boselli was the GOAT. I'm just saying everyone has off days and can face that one guy or two that can get the best of you, but as long as you remain consistent throughout the season, that's all that matters. I would consider Stanley as the same kind of building block and just as valuable, just at another position. I don't wanna trade Ngakoue, but if you dangle one of the best young LT's in the NFL in front of me, I'd be very tempted to make a deal, since that is a particular area of weakness for us. |
