If your boss told you to come into work sick, and assigned you work that made your sickness worse, and refused to pay you if you didn't show up, you'd have a lawsuit going.
This one's easy: It's the player's body, the player's career, and a diagnosed issue. I don't know where the Jets get off telling him he can't fix the problem the way he wants to. Now, they can cut him for any reason they choose at any time in the NFL, so I don't really have an issue with that. But telling him he can't have control over medical procedures on his own body is beyond unethical. I'm betting Osmele wins his grievance - easily. |
