There's a lot of bitterness in this topic over differences in opinions on policy.

 

You don't need the first pick, but it doesn't hurt.  I'm sure you'll bring up Ryan Leaf and Jamarcus Russell to 'prove me wrong'.  But that doesn't prove me wrong at all.  That's just a bad decision, and they can be made whether at 1 or 32.  

 

You can get a quarterback in the later rounds.  But the chances of it being successful are lower.  I guess we should just go with Matt Scott.  I mean he was undrafted.  But so was Tony Romo.  Guess he's going to be an All-star player.  I know people on this board were hoping we'd hake him in the 3rd or 4th last year.  


I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
