I'm torn because.....

The very bad is not re-signing rising stars after finding them or having them fall to them via the draft and negating gaping holes when talent is there for the picking in early rounds.  It's like for every dumb decision they make, luck slaps them in the face and they pick a decent player later on or find a diamond in the rough somehow.

Ahhh the classic 'every move that turns out bad shows the FO is dumb, every move that turns out good shows the FO is lucky'.

The bad outweighs the good by a decent margin but i guess picking a qb late in the past 2 drafts as a project shows their in depth scouting dept.  Lee and the Mcgough guy didnt work, yet they hit on minshew and he actually was a glimpse of hope.  I guess at least they went 1 for 3 and it wasn't luck at all.  Kudos to the scouting dept for outsmarting every other team in the draft and saving the best pick for last. They got to get awesome picks early and still get the QB they knew would shine.
