I'm torn because.....

The very bad is not re-signing rising stars after finding them or having them fall to them via the draft and negating gaping holes when talent is there for the picking in early rounds.  It's like for every dumb decision they make, luck slaps them in the face and they pick a decent player later on or find a diamond in the rough somehow.

Problem with that thinking is, if we had drafted a QB early instead of signing Foles, we absolutely would not have taken a QB late (Minshew) in the draft to be a backup.  Minshew would not be here.

I was actually going by normal FO logic.  We kept Blake and then picked up tanner lee late.  I assumed keeping him we still would've picked up Minshew late.  That is all based on them not wanting to make it seem like we were done with him fully like they had been trying to prove before.  By all means tho, If they were thinking about one early this year i would've had pause as well.  The better class is this coming year but who knows what will happen at any given year due to injuries to college prospects etc.
