The key is to trade him post 6/1 I guess. We still eat some dead cap but it is split between 2020 and 21, and the biggest savings.

Problem there is, most teams have their QB situations settled.


The best we can hope for is a restructure or retire on Foles part..... which would be... noble of him

Or we just pay the best backup QB in the NFL starter money for a year because we can't extend our sixth-round starter making sixth-round money until after his third year anyway. Seriously. We have two good QBs. Can't we just enjoy that for a while instead of trying to figure out how to get rid of a guy who costs us more if he plays for someone else than if he plays for us?
