With the 25th pick in the 2014 NFL draft, the San Diego chargers
select, Stanley Jean-Baptiste. CB, Nebraska http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cq-FztyrMqQ San Diego needs help in their secondary if they're going to play with KC and Denver and Jean-Baptiste offers the big physical corner that the league is switching to. While it's a somewhat risky pick this high because it's still unknown if he'll have the ability to play at a high level at the corner position, He seems to have shed some of that doubt with his play at the senior bowl. However he's a safe pick because if he doesn't work out, he can be moved to safety which he would be well suited for with his ball skills. It may be a reach, but I think he'll be what San Diego needs after a poor showing from it's secondary all year. ![]() |
