We don't need to suck to get a franchise QB. We thought we had one when we drafted Leftwich #7 overall, and subsequently Blaine Gabbert #10 overall. It's not necessary to have the first pick in the draft. Turns out the best QB we've had since Brunell was David Garrard who we picked up in the 4th round.

This team needs to put together some wins and gain some confidence. Losing is habit forming. Losing 16 straight games to get the #1 pick is an achievement for losers.

Of the #1 picks made since Peyton Manning was selected how many of these are considered worthy of being the worst team in NFL history to acquire: Tim Couch, David Carr, Carson Palmer, Eli Manning, Alex Smith, Jamarcus Russell, Matt Stafford, Sam Bradford, Cam Newton, and Andrew Luck?
