The jags should have known what they were getting in Foles and never paid him.

Who cares if he's nice? He's paid to win football games.

Yeah, but that's one reason, I like him better than other people do. And I appreciate him for the way he mentored/supported Minshew. There are veteran QB's in this league that would not have mentored Minshew as willingly as Nick did. Especially with all of the attention that Minshew was getting when he was playing. I remember some like Flacco who did not want to mentoring their young backup QB's (potential successors). I do appreciate Nick doing that, even knowing that a lot of fans were falling in love with Minshew/preferred Minshew to him. I do believe that his mentoring helped Minshew.

Regardless, though if continues Nick not to play very well and the team continues to lose, he will be held accountable. And he should be. (Though, I probably won't be as critical of him as others, especially if things like the defense giving up a ton of points continues to happen).

I said a few weeks ago, that Nick should be expected to win more games than Gardner. And that it wasn't unreasonable to expect him to win at least 5 out of the last seven games. (I didn't expect him to run the table, though that would have been nice.) He is a veteran QB with more experience, has almost the same amount of games to play as GM, had healthy players coming back, and I think has an easier stretch of the schedule. So I believe he should win more games than Minshew. Though, that will go out of the window next week if the team loses to Tampa. He will only be able to tie his win total then and may not even end up doing that. Things could end up getting even rougher, especially regarding fans and their attitudes about him/this team, if he ends up with less wins than Gardner. And his play doesn't really improve during these last games. I hope he and the team perform better.
