Our biggest team need right now by far is stopping the run. Whatever draft and free agency plan we come up with has to deal with that need. Our problem right now is, all our big guys are just guys. Abry Jones, Taven Bryan, Norwell, Cann, all just guys. We need to spend some high draft picks on those spots, especially defensive tackle, because if we defend the run next year the way we have in the last 3 games, we will be 0-16. And the same with linebacker. Myles Jack is out of position, and everyone else is a backup-quality player.
We can't block and we can't tackle. We have to rebuild this team on the spots nearest the center of things- the guys who line up next to the ball. |
