I promise you I'm not a hater of Gardner Minshew but I see the same similarities to Jeremy Lin  and Linsanity in New York and how they had to get rid of him so Carmelo Anthony can regain his team at the time. If anyone agree or disagree with my current stance on the situation feel free to respond back because I want to hear everybody opinion on it.

I had mentioned this earlier because new coaches frequently do want to go with "their guy" when there's no one who's a clearly established franchise player. I still see a good chance that Minshew stays on the team as a backup or even an interim starter because he's cheap and has shown he can help win games. I could see a new staff trying to trade Foles but if unable then keeping him on the roster for another year while they groom a draft pick. Minshew's role is most likely not as a franchise QB but as a long time trusted backup and a great guy to have in the QB room.
