That being said I really think Minshew can develop. I think we got a steal if he does. And I believe in his ability to be a franchise guy.
Just wish people would stop over hyping a guy who clearly has some issues to work out (taking sacks, field vision, fumbles/ball security) like he should have been a first rounder based on stat sheets alone.
But Kirk isn't a rookie though. I do agree that the talents on the offer see is comparable. Not to mention coaching, they have Kingsburry who is building his offense around Murray. Andy Isabella is a great WR they need to learn how to get more involved as he is a rookie though

My bad... Not sure why I thought Kirk came out this year. He made significant strides inhis 2nd year much like Chark

Minshew really doesn't have much of a team around him. And his coaches didn't design anything for him.

Kyler Murray was handed a coach that loved him and they built a system specifically for him. No one is doing that for a 6th rounder.

Next year Minshew is going to be elite if he gets the coaching that will make an offense for him. Book it.
You sure about that? Try adding in Minshews fumbles lost.....

I like Minshew but there is no chance he becomes elite (Rodgers, Brees, Mahomes, Wilson) next season. No chance at all.

All very bad games. Then there's games like Oakland and Texans first game where he looked unplayable for 3 quarters. Bengals game looked a lot worse than it did statistically.

I'm a fan but he's definitely had bad games (as all rookie will)

Minshew has had great games and terrible games.
I don't know why fans can't be objective about him.
