I wouldn't have a problem with Tony making all the selections, or rather having a good analytic model make them.
The Jaguars problem, like so many teams, is they either can't recognize talent, or ignore it way too often. If he can come up with a good statistical model to quantify talent for football that's probably better than letting someone like Caldwell make selections based mostly on filling roster slots. |
