NFL Scouting Combine invitations
|
I know the NFL can't invite everybody, but when 24 teams - two thirds of the league - go to a school just to visit a two-time All-American who was named one of the top 10 Division 3 players and compared to J.J. Watt, shouldn't he get more than a Pro Day to improve is chances of getting drafted? I think more teams are interested in him but have not gone to campus yet. I think if most teams want to meet a player and he clearly has enough ability to get drafted he should do all of the combine activities related to his position (defensive end). He really needs to do all that more than the players will go to Indianapolis because as a Division 3 team the Bison play only 10 games per season. I am hoping Adham Talaat's omission from the combine invite list had nothing to do with the school he is at and somebody will draft him anyway.
