Za'Darius Smith was excellent tonight. He was very impressive tonight with his 3.5 sacks and him and the Packers defense did a really good job against the Vikings. Mike Pettine has done a nice job with them this season. I can tell that Aaron appreciates their efforts. He seemed grateful earlier in the season with how well they were performing. And he was smiling tonight towards the end of the game, about how the things turned out largely due to their play.

They helped keep things afloat for the Packers while the offense was struggling in the first half. And then the offense got moving a bit more and the team was able to build up a better lead and get the win.

And it was a very disappointing showing by Kirk Cousins and the Vikings. He is now 0-9 in Monday Night Football games, that is the worst record ever for a QB. He had an opportunity (especially earlier on) to help the Vikings build up their lead but was unable to do much of anything. Towards the end it seemed like he had a bit more urgency to try and win the game, but it was too little too late. This is the type of performance that the VIkings can not afford if they want to have any success in the postseason.
