Any position on the OL, LB, CB, etc would most likely yield better results for us to address. Plus another DT for depth could be addressed in the later rounds.
I don't know man. Having a front four consisting of Allen, Brown, Kinlaw & hopefully Ngakoue resigned looks pretty damn good on paper.

If Ngakoue walks or is franchise tagged you might see a need to at least compensate his loss with a better interior player.

It's tempting. We do have huge holes to fill though. No way to get around that. But if you have Kinlaw on your board as a top 3 talent at his position and you pass on him for a guard?

I don't know. Tough call there. I think we have a shot at landing Biadasz on the 2nd day early. Could be a potential move to Center with Linder kicked out to guard to replace Cann.

I have similar thoughts with Robinson. Maybe they land a tackle later. That kid from Washington or Auburn could challenge him. This gives you another potential move inside with Robinson also over Cann.

You make a good point, I would just contend in your scenario by saying if Kinlaw is present with a similarly graded lineman, I feel like trying to boost our OL would be more beneficial both in the short/long term. We need to have a solid OL for our running game/Minshew/Future QB to succeed. Theoretically, players who get chosen in the higher rounds should pan out as better pro's but we know that is not the case for the most part.

Losing Ngakoue would hurt us severely and it would definitely change my outlook - but as of now, if we hypothetically take Brown at 6, his potential production should allow us to address a glaring hole like OL with a player who should make more of an impact than one who is drafted in a later round.

Ultimately, you have to weigh the strength of the upcoming class at each position and see if you can nab a player who also meets a need - especially in the later rounds. But this is coming from someone who values BAP with a blend of needs-based-drafting (especially so in the later rounds).
