The only one I can think of is that Khan doesn't want to double pay and already obligated to pay these clowns for next year.   Seriously it's like Jason Garret and the cowboys or Marvin Lewis and the bengals.  Those guys stuck around for years and accomplished very little.

I have to admit I was off on this. I thought both DM and DC had contracts that went through 2020 - not 2021.  So of course Khan doesn't want to pay all of those coaches and front office staff 2 years of salary while doing nothing.  

It puts more money in Khan's pockets and let's be honest - he isn't that interested in bringing a winning franchise here because he would have gotten rid of Caldwell after his first 3 disastrous drafts instead of letting him stick around this long.  

The fans are dumb enough to keep shoving money in Khan's pockets - so why should he make any changes?
