How is it desperate?

Yan has played well enough to warrant a big contract. Having Yan (who's still just 24 years old) and Allen (22) for the next 8 years would be incredible.

But they play the same position!!! We don't need 2 premier pass rushers. We will just draft a premier pass rusher in the 3rd round again this year. We should just trade Yan for 3 first round picks. I did that in Madden once and I ended up with the first 3 picks in the draft. The Jags should just hire me as GM. I have run the draft simulator at least 100 times now. I got all A+'s on my last draft bb!
