I give you Tony he was one of the best Jags ever. But that was over 20 years ago, Monroe was decent and during his years here alot of people did not feel his play was worth the 1st round pick. And if he was so good why would trade him for just and 4th and 5th? Joke was terrible.

A lot of people aren't very smart. Monroe was a fine left tackle who played very well for 4 and half seasons. He was traded because he was in the last year of his rookie deal and the FO had already brought in Joke and wanted more picks. He was just part of the house cleaning, other teams knew it, and we still go a decent deal for him. Maybe they were on to something with Monroe since he really started racking up the injuries once he got to Baltimore. In any case, every fan of this team ought to be ecstatic if we can get a left tackle of his caliber in this draft, it would help out the entire offense and GM15 in particular.
