I just feel like if the production was really that good for Monroe, they would tried to resign him or try get something more for him. He may have played well but I like the overall feeling was that he wasn't worth where he was picked based on what we got.(02-24-2020, 10:07 AM)D-Money Wrote: I hear what you are saying but do you feel that Monroe was worth a 1st round pick? If so why would the Jaguars pick Luke Joke if the position was already solidified. I guess it would be bad front office even then because if you have a 1st round OT that is performing up to standards, you don't go and pick someone in the same position, the smart thing would have been to trade back and gain more picks that way. Keep the players that we draft and are producing (which we are still not doing) instead of using them on rookie deals and try to get rid of them before we have to pay them, it wasn't working then and it still is not working. Doing that would allow us to solidify the other positions we were weak at With Ramsey, even tho he left we know he was 100% worth where he was picked. You see the difference between the 2, one is for sure one is questionable. Aside from all that it comes down to me saying, that this year based on all of the weak points on our team it wouldn't make sense when we have a better chance of shoring up another position because of the talent available and based on us not being able to make good picks on offensive linemen overall. Even in the 2nd and 3rd rounds, it would be better for us to go for a different position |
