I think back to Wayne Weaver. Weaver didn't have Kahn's deep pockets, but he loves this city. He's given millions to hospitals, the arts, charities. Has Kahn ever done anything like that? All those stadium improvements under his tenure weren't for the public good - the city footed half the bill on all of them, and they ultimately benefit Kahn's bottom line. Also, Weaver lives here. Kahn only graces us when he drops anchor in his aircraft carrier sized yacht.

I can't help but believe that the second game in London announcement was timed right at the beginning of two critical events: the beginning of season ticket renewals and the final city council vote on Lot J. If both of those fail, Kahn can make his case to the owners that Jacksonville is not sustainable as an NFL town. But no city would vote to spend millions on a project for a company that's already got one foot out the door. And very few fans would continue to support a team that refuses to make coaching and FO changes after yet another disastrous year.

Nope, I don't trust this guy.
