Do you think Weaver in his time, or any other owner who bought the team from him would have done as much to improve the stadium and vicinity in an effort to make the fan experience more appealing? Most of them would have either moved the team already, or sat back while the stadium rotted from within, and then held the city hostage to build bigger, better stadium on the city's dime or take his team elsewhere.

If Marrone doesn't work out, though, he's going to have to dig into the pockets for a wow hire or the city may just give up on the team. I hate it, but it's the reality of the situation.
