I lived there for 5 years.  I liked it okay but they are a baseball town. Hockey is second. The XFL will do well there because it is more working class and affordable.

If the Jaguars moved there it would be a colossal failure.  Maybe there would be a new stadium.  There were plans for the enterprise sponsored stadium but Stan never wanted to stay there.

I don't believe the NFL would let the team move there. I think they would push London above all. See the stupid 3 plus game proposal in the new CBA. The Con *cough Khan clause.

Agreed. I'm actually from there originally. I left many years ago but I remember that everyone was a baseball or hockey fan and very few people talked about the (then) football Cardinals. When I talk to family still in the area the general reaction to the possibility of an NFL team moving there is usually met with a really big yawn.

But as we've seen, fan support is no longer the critical factor in the decision making of where a franchise will end up.
