In Hypothetical #2 the clear answer is Isiah Simmons. If he however is off the board it could make an interesting trade down situation with both Brown/Kinlaw still on the board and NYJ are coming for an OT. You net an additional 4th with one of Kinlaw/Brown guaranteed to be there....I'd do it.

In Hypo #1:

As is usually my mindset in the draft, I would trade down instead of up. We have too many holes to fill that giving up 2 first for 1 position isn't worth it. With those 2 later 1st (assuming Yan nets a 1st) you could easily go OT/OG (whichever OT falls/Biadasz)...double down on secondary picks (Henderson/Delpit)...Grab a LB in Murray or Queen...or maybe even trade back again if one of the QBs falls to 20 (Love)...NOLA/NE will probably be the trade partners.
